Zanthoxylum Peel is the Latin name of Sichuan Peppercorns; however they are not related to black and white peppers. Unlike black peppers which yields a hot peppery zing, Sichuan Peppercorns are very different in the way that they do not produce any hot taste but lemony overtones indeed. Produced in its native land China, expect to have high quality Sichuan Peppercorns at a fraction of its cost.
